Bringing a Muni Train Control Board Back to Life

So I recently bought a Muni train control board that was used for opening train doors and such. I want to repair it and use it for something cool. 

It's a metal board with very simple switches mounted on it, I'm want to rewire them to an arduino or something to control messages on an LED display, for example flipping the first switch will display "MUNI"

I cleaned the nicer one up and put it in a homemade wooden box. It's not mounted or anything, it just sits on some supports. December 1st, 2025
