I was wondering one day if I could still get a television channel guide in 2024. Here are some of the ones I was considering.
TV Guide: The classic. It has more articles and things about various TV shows and movies but I was looking for just TV listings. The listings only start at 7 and continues through the night (primetime). I got a by mail only offer of $15 for the first year so I went with it.
Channel Guide Magazine: More movie-focused than others. It is only one issue a month and I felt like I wanted more.
TV Weekly: This is the one I went with. Despite the name, it's a tri-weekly magazine that has over-the-air and cable channel listings from 6 am to 12 pm which is quite a lot. My yearly subscription is $20 first year, then $30 yearly if renewed. there are best bets, games (crossword, word search, etc.), articles, and various other bits such as a movie list and sports list. TV Weekly is exactly what I was looking for and I recommend it for its thorough daily listings. TvWeekly is every 3 weeks, and by the end of the 3rd week, the listings aren't as accurate, It should say what's on, but instead reads MOVIE from say 7-9, because the station doesn't yet know what movie they'll play yet. (2025 update: I cancelled my subscription and got a TV guide subscription now)
